Project overview
Kent Space asked us to bring the glazing to all of its rented offices across two floors up to Part K standard. It followed an earlier phase the year before, when we fitted the same style of manifestation to more than 50 metres of glass on the same site.
What the client needed
Manifestation on every office's glass that meets Part K, and that also stops people walking past from seeing computer screens inside.
What LDH Cr8tive delivered
A frosted band running the full length of each office's glass, set at a height that meets the regulations and works as a privacy screen. Next to each office door, a semicircle is cut out of the frost and infilled in dark grey, with the room number cut out of it.
Challenges and considerations
The building was being fitted out, so we had to wait for areas to clear and for other trades to finish before we could get access to the glass.
Solution
After the site survey and quote, we cut all the shapes and cut the frost to length for each office in the workshop, so that once each area was clear the film could go straight on.
